A lot of attention was been created by Wigan midfielder Mohhamed Diame from the Premier League’s elite club.

There are several elite club shown interest in the Senegal International  – Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Aston Villa,  Senegal international who is considered one of the bargains of the window as a free agent.

Willie McKay Diame’s representative has confirmed clubs abroad and in local ‘Momo is one of the best Bosmans around this summer and there are a lot of clubs at home and abroad keen on him, but Momo would like to stay in the Premier League and play for an ambitious club.

‘I have met with several Premier League clubs and we are considering all offers, but we have yet to make a decision on where Momo will be going.

‘Momo is disappointed he did not play as much for Wigan in the second half of this season, but he enjoyed his time at Wigan, although he always saw it as a stepping stone to move to a bigger club.’

Wigan also expect to lose Hugo Rodallega while Victor Moses continues to be courted by clubs such as QPR.

Place your bet this weekend on the highly anticipated FA Cup final between Liverpool v. Chelsea.

Chelsea v Liverpool – Betting Tips:
Chelsea to win the FA Cup
Under 2.5 goals

One of the best rivalries in British football trips the new Wembley arena for the first time this few days as Liverpool take on Chelsea in the FA Cup final.

Amazingly, this will be the Thirty first conference of the two clubs in the last eight seasons as reminiscences of legendary Winners twice headers and numerous home cup situations ruminate clean in memory.

During that period the teams have been eerily impossible to split with Chelsea winning 11, Liverpool winning 11 and eight matches ending in a draw; the Blues perhaps holding any marginal advantage having won the 2005 Carling Cup in extra time.

Research of latest FA Cup finals also indicates that we should back Several weeks to be the side raising the award on Sunday night at possibility of 7/10. The Stamford Link team have surfaced winning on five of their six trips to the nationwide arena, and have never missing a game title there within 90 moments.

Roberto di Matteo has worked wonders since taking charge at Chelsea, but he still doesn’t have anything tangible to show for his efforts. Victory this weekend would be a perfect precursor to the Champions League final a fortnight later, and set up the Blues for a truly memorable season.

Things were never easy from the very beginning between Bayern München and Real Madrid. After about a decade, those two teams are now facing against one another once more. Bayern takes over as the eminent force this time, as decided by the outcome of their previous match in Allianz Arena during this year’s first leg of the UEFA Champions League Semi-Finals. With two goals slotted in its favor, Bayern’s current status as the top dog against Real makes the whole situation harder to fathom, with the latter being more than eager to push a top Clásico game against Barcelona closer to reality.

With the explosive nature of their previous showdown, as characterized by a staggering release of nine yellow cards shared by both teams, both Bayern and Real have to keep their respective strategies at their respective cockpits, given that automatic suspensions are expected to rain at the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Semi-Finals, to be held at the Bernabéu Stadium this April 26, 2012 at 2:45 am (GMT + 8). Whether Real composes its fragile defense to a more formidable one which it could use to boost its critical away goal from Allianz or Bayern continues to persist in their goal to pin their heaviest Spanish rival through its cast of Gómez, et al., this upcoming confrontation is sure to mark another spectacular event in the history of the Bayern-Real derby.

Wolves midfielder gutted in the wake of relegation

Wolves-v-Manchester-City-Karl-Henry-Terry-Con_2754451.jpg (660×350)
Karl Henry has labelled it a ‘sad day’ for Wolves after their relegation was confirmed following a 2-0 loss to Manchester City.

Terry Connor’s men needed to see off City to stand any chance of avoiding going down, but the succumbed courtesy of goals from Sergio Aguero and Samir Nasri.
Henry admits his team-mates have held their hands up over their poor season, stating their form over the course of the campaign has not been good enough.

Terry Connor has taken charge of the club’s last ten Premier League games following McCarthy’s sacking, although Henry does not believe he is to blame for their plight.

“I think the timing was bad, we’re all well aware of that. The chairman felt he wanted to move in a different direction. He’s the boss,” he continued.

“Terry Connor’s come into a difficult situation. He’s taken over and we’ve all tried to take his ideas on board. Unfortunately we weren’t able to do it. We were already on a downward spiral.

“I don’t think it’s something that’s happened since Terry’s taken over. We were in the bottom three. We’ve been struggling all season. We’ve not been good enough and I’m gutted.”

The Hoops boss fumed at Euan Thomas’ decision to give a spot kick which led to the winner in the final minutes of Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden Park

16178155.jpg (640×380) <

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has hit out at referee Euan Thomas following his side’s 2-1 defeat to Hearts in the Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday.

Hearts scored a stoppage-time penalty through Craig Beattie as a result of Joe Ledley appearing to handle in the box just moments after the Hoops scored a late equaliser.

The Northern Irishman took to the pitch following the match to berate Thomas for his decisions throughout the game, including denying Celtic a penalty for another handball incident.

Lennon later wrote on Twitter: “Referee told players he thought [Victor] Wanyama handled. I feel so sorry for players and fans. I think it’s personal myself.”

He also went on to retweet a fan who had written: “pack our bags and get out of this league that is run by crooked £SFA officials.”

Celtic assistant manager Alan Thomson also vented his frustrations at the end of the match but refused to blame the officials.

When asked whether Lennon confronted the officials, he said: “I think he has been in, yes, but I wasn’t there so I don’t know what was said.’’

“We are all angry. We have just lost the semi-final of the cup when there were 92 minutes on the clock, it is frustrating.”
